The "Shape" of Stories

Vonnegut has been a huge influence on my work. For this first post I would like to show you a video of Kurt Vonnegut speaking on the "shape" of stories. I find it extremely relevant and important to the playwrights (and other such storytellers) out there. It's a short video but full of content. You can find more about "shape" of stories in his book A Man Without a Country. In the book, he dives in a little more on this subject including the "shape" of Kafka's writings and Shakespeare's Hamlet. Enjoy!

Hello! Welcome to the inspiration portion of the site! Larry here.
Periodically I'll be posting interesting links, videos, thoughts, words, quotes, etc that we feel are relevant with our company and to the greater knowledge in storytelling as art.

I will be sharing with you our inspirations in hopes to inspire you as well.

My goal here is the curate the things that has caught my sights and spread that information. I remember when I was a younger Larry, having no idea what was going on in the world. I wanted to learn but didn't know where to look. Here will be things to look at.

Much Love,
